How it all began
In the founder's opinion, the chili sauce market is flooded with sauces that always want to be hotter and more extreme. What's missing is an alternative for everyone. Without that sharp vinegar taste and without having to run straight to the milk emergency room.
Xauce is made in small batches in Hilterfingen on Lake Thun. We wanted chili sauces that aren't just hot, but really taste good.
The neighbor
In the middle of developing The Xauce Original, a wonderful smell came from the neighbor's grill. We saw the spare ribs and knew The Xauce Original would be too mild for such hearty food. Quickly, Xauce Xipotle was developed and tested together with the neighbor.
Two sauces. Two characters.
The Xauce Original: carrot meets habanero, fruity, fresh and fiery. Xipotle: smoked chipotle chilies with a hint of sweetness, made for barbecues.
Vegan.
Both sauces are vegan.
