What is Xauce
Xauce is a small company committed to improving the world of chili sauces.
Despite common assumptions, spicy food has a long history in Switzerland. Horseradish and mustard have been integral to Swiss cuisine ever since people started curing and pickling vegetables in Switzerland.
However, with globalization and cultural exchange, chili and hot sauces have also found their permanent place on our plates.
As with other goods (cars, mobile phones, etc.), chili sauces are also losing their character. Suddenly, they all taste the same.
Xauce was founded out of frustration.
Frustration that you can choose between 40 different labels in the store, but in the end, everything tastes like the same red sauce.
We don't focus on maximum heat, but on maximum flavor. Our sauces are meant to complement food, not overpower it.
We experiment with different chilies, fermentations, and ingredient combinations to develop sauces that actually taste different.

Original
Our original recipe combines Swiss carrots with distinctive habanero chillies. A related, yet exotic, flavour combination.
Carrots have been grown in Switzerland for around 3000 years and are thus an integral part of Swiss cuisine.
